Individual Registration
The International Symposium on Plasma & Fine Bubbles (ISPFB2022) was successfully held online during August 22-23. This event was hosted by Chinese Society of Particuology (CSP), co-organized by the Micro/nano Bubble Professional Technical Committee of CSP, Tongji University, Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Donghua University, Southeast University and Hainan University.
The ISPFB is an international symposium on plasma and fine bubbles. Its pioneer is “International Symposium on Application of High-voltage, Plasmas & Micro/Nano Bubbles to Agriculture and Aquaculture (ISHPMNB)” which was organized by Rajamangala University of Technology (Thailand), Kyoto University (Japan) and Iwata University (Japan) from 2017 in sequence. It mainly focused on the applications of high-voltage, plasma and micro/nano bubbles to agriculture, aquaculture and food safety. In order to enlarge the scale of exchanges in the field of plasma and fine bubbles, the Micro/nano Bubble Professional Technical Committee of CSP and ISHPMNB Committee decided to rename the symposium as “The International Symposium on Plasma & Fine Bubbles” in 2021. Topics will cover the latest theoretical and experimental developments related to plasma and fine bubbles and their potential applications in biological, environmental, agriculture, aquaculture, food safety, medical fields, etc.
ISPFB2022 was co-chaired by Professors Jun Hu and Kiyoshi Yoshikawa, who are well-known scientists in the field of fine bubbles. More than 100 participants from China, Thailand, Japan, Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. attended this online symposium. Scientists and engineers from universities, institutes and companies gathered together to exchange their latest progress, ideas and techniques in the fields of plasma and fine bubbles and promote the development of those two fields.
During the symposium, the presenters mainly presented the fundamental questions, the generation and detection techniques of plasma and fine bubbles, their applications in water treatment, planting of aquatic products and biological and medical fields. Through the convening of this international symposium, the in-depth crossover of the two advanced technologies of plasma and micro-nano bubbles has been enhanced, which is conductive not only to the improvement of international development in plasma and fine bubbles, but also to the applications in agriculture, aquaculture and biological and medical fields. Meanwhile, this symposium also provides an international academic exchange platform for domestic and foreign scientists and entrepreneurs.
